1. Introduction

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it within the iConsume app.

2. Data Collected

We collect the following categories of data:

• Usage data: meter readings, consumption data, homes added, deadlines set.
• Technical data: device type, iOS version, anonymous identifier for analytics.
• Purchase data: PRO subscription information (managed by Apple).

3. How We Use Data

Data is used for:

• App functionality (storing readings, calculating consumption).
• Improving the user experience.
• Sending deadline notifications (only with your permission).
• Displaying relevant ads for free users (through Google AdMob).

4. Ads and Tracking

Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. We will request your permission (through App Tracking Transparency) before allowing tracking for advertising purposes.

• If you accept: you will see personalized ads.
• If you decline: you will see generic, non-personalized ads.
• PRO users do not see any ads.

5. Data Storage

Data is securely stored through Firebase (Google Cloud) and synced via iCloud. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except for technical service providers (Firebase, AdMob).

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Request data deletion (by deleting your account).
• Withdraw tracking consent at any time from Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
• Export your data (PRO feature).

7. Data Retention

Data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app, in Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon account deletion, all cloud data is permanently removed.

8. Children

iConsume is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We will update this policy periodically. You will be notified through the app about significant changes.
